Note: TOKYPOP purple is the purple used by TOKYPOP [publications] (formerly known as Mixx Entertainment), who is an American distributor, licensor, and publisher of anime, manga. This colour was chosen for both appearance and nostalgia purposes. The colour was more aesthetically pleasing than other colours used by other publishers (or for the individual cover of Love Hina volume 7 ). Most publishers use white backgrounds/boarders either as the publishers' theme or the indivudal volumes cover which has already been made and provided. The making of this extensive set also requires a concise amount of options to reduce repetion and increase output.

Being somewhat of a brown hue (a neutral colour) as well as a brand colour, TOKYOPOP purple has been considered a neutral colour.

Note: Exclusive Filter Remix Editions are only available for iphone and 16:9 resolutions. However, if there is enough encouragement for other aspect ratios/resolutions version of the wallpaper to be created, supply will meet the demand. Please realise not all suggestion may be put into action as there may not be enough demand.

Note: "480x320 Enlarged"  and "1024x768 Enlarged" are copies of the original with the same resoultion. Due to having such a large boarder and/or a small screen size, I used the largest quad HD version and enlarged it until it was cropped (essentially increasing the size of the main image, the area without the boarder). More of the characters are visible. I felt bad as there was so much empty space especially on a small screened phone. Someone is getting gypped no longer.

Note: The PPI of all images is consistently set at 600PPI and is not customised for each available smartphone's PPI.

Note: Please spread this pack as the image is a rare copy of the original Love Hina volume 7 cover art. It has also been remastered to ensure quality; the highest quality being Quad HD (1440x2560) at 600ppi.

To achieve a middle ground I placed one image on top of the other (e.g. the wallpaper with the Alex filter and the wallpaper with the Antonio filter) changing the transparency (opacity) of the image on top (e.g. the Alex version to 67% on top of the Antonio version [100%]) in Photoshop.

As I was unable to find the affect I had wanted to achieve in Photoshop I looked to Instagram (...immitation) for help. Finding some cool effects, I kept them, four in total (sixteen in the original). Technically there are seven when three are divided. The one that fit the look I want the most wost Alex-Antonio.

I combined to two images (each one with its own filter) to either reduce the overpowering affect or blend the aspect of one filter with another.

Comix - Was of my own creation (taking 14 layers plus the original: 15). I added the 'Poster Edges' and 'Accented Edges' filters, mainly Vibrance, Brightness/Contrast, and Curves adjustments. It looks outlined, flat, blurred, saturated, and overexposed. The main colours being blues, reds, white (and off-whites), and purples. It looks very comic like but I can't explain how (what style) other than it being outline, flat, and vibrant.

Sunset and Comix were incredibly virbant. I had to reduce to vibrancy, saturation , and brightess to make it less jarring to the eyes; very much overpowered eye soars before.
